A Texoma Native, Kevin Couch has worked, lived and served in House District 62 nearly all his life. In 2015, he was elected as City Councilman in Sherman, TX. During his tenure, Kevin championed the revitalization and rebirth of Sherman’s historic downtown. Kevin’s time on the Sherman City Council exposed him to the difference a steadfast conservative voice can have. In August of 2017, Kevin stepped down from his seat on the Sherman City Council to run for Texas House District 62.
Kevin attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he studied psychology. After managing the communications department of Sherman Bible Church in Sherman for 5 years, he spent a few years in Chicago designing websites and packaging for Fortune 500 companies.
In 2013, Kevin returned to his roots in Grayson County where he took on the role of CEO at CBC Creative, a full-service creative firm that specializes in web design, corporate branding, and print media. From their headquarters in Downtown Sherman, CBC Creative helps local entrepreneurs take their business to the next level. It’s his conservative values and dedication to service that have grown Kevin into the principled leader he is today.
Like many others in House District 62, Kevin recognizes the need for change in Austin. Career politicians and political insiders have taken the reigns, leaving constituents in the dust. Sharing the same conservative values as the folks of House District 62, Kevin will be their voice in Austin fighting for conservative change.
